Abstract
This review examines the complex role of neutrophils in the pathogenesis of cancer. Neutrophil extracellular traps and the ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes may indicate the degree of malignancy of the tumor and have great prognostic value. Neutrophils, as well as the impact on their metabolic pathways, are a promising direction in cancer immunotherapy.
